Is it all worth it?
Finding a girlfriend, having a relationship, getting married, having kids the end. I believe having kids usually marks the end of your life and the beginning of having to take care of someone else’s life, for your entire life, and then you die. Is it all worth it? The diapers, the crying, the tantrums, the whining, the messy house, the added expenses, the lack of social life, the early mornings 365 days a week, the getting up in the middle of the night - every night for years, the constant fatigue, the loss of mental state, the broken toes on toys left out in the open, the stress it puts on your marriage - and if I had a few more seconds to think, I’m sure I could come up with 100 other reasons why it’s not worth it.
So why do so many masochistic people do this to themselves? Is it hard wired in their brains? Is it society?
